Crime Prevention Security, Inc. was founded by Samantha Towler; a past Putnam County Deputy Sherriff in April of 1992. The company started as a one-woman entity that setup headquarters in her Ypsilanti Township home. Samantha had many views about security that were developed using her knowledge and experience as a police officer. The company would utilize the tools of Crime Prevention, and stay within their roles of security officers to observe and report. 

Samantha believed that security should be a dynamic presence within the community. She achieved this by bridging gap between her clients, law enforcement agencies, and municipal governments to consolidate efforts in the common goals of Crime Prevention. 

Nearly three decades later Crime Prevention Security has grown from its humble beginnings, but has continued to remember the foundation to which it was created. Customer service and a strong community outreach remain our highest priorities. 

Our state of the art Dispatch Center, Site Implementation Techniques, and Comprehensive Service Strategy remain the best in our field. Our commitment to our clients and our industry is strong and appreciated. 

Crime Prevention Security has grown to become one of the largest women-owned companies in our industry; providing services all over Southeast Michigan. However, the most meaningful to us is to see that the services we provide are impacting the communities we both reside and love.
